Sentry AI launches v11 to automate guard work while keeping human response

Sentry AI has launched v11 as a physical-security platform meant to replace much of an on-site guard’s routine work with AI monitoring and investigation, while keeping human personnel for physical response and public engagement.

The company’s Sept. 15 announcement says its agents handle roughly 90% of the work of an on-site guard and operate through existing security infrastructure. Chief Operating Officer Farhat Ali said the combination works at roughly one-fifth the cost of on-site guards without requiring hardware or software replacement.

Human personnel remain part of the proposed division of work. The platform’s Guard Dispatch feature connects AI-detected incidents with security personnel when a physical response is required. Tracking and mapping tools show operators both incident and guard locations. Sentry says remote and on-site staff can then concentrate on engaging with authorities and the public.

“AI can provide continuous awareness and coordinate responses, while human guards bring judgment and a physical presence when they're needed most,” CEO Uday Kiran Chaka said in the announcement.

On the monitoring side, a feature called Agentic Patrol is designed to analyze activity and investigate potential threats rather than wait for alarms. New access-control and sensor integrations connect information from cameras, doors, gates and other devices to help the AI assess activity across a property.

Sentry said v11 is available to new and existing customers.
