Aya pushes LotusOne beyond staffing into services procurement
The new capability covers consulting, IT initiatives, capital projects and audits, with budget, milestone and supplier tracking.
Aya Healthcare is moving LotusOne into a category of hospital spend that often sits outside labor systems: project-based outside services.
The company announced Oct. 29 that its workforce platform now includes Services Procurement, a capability for managing statement of work engagements alongside contingent labor. The new capability covers consulting, IT initiatives, capital projects and external audits.
Aya introduced LotusOne in July 2024 to manage external labor and help healthcare organizations plan, source and deploy internal talent, according to its newsroom. The expansion adds services spending to that platform.
Those services often sit outside the systems hospitals use to manage employees and contingent workers, Aya said in its announcement. Multiple suppliers, agreements and project commitments can make spending and progress difficult to track.
The product is aimed at procurement, finance and project management teams, bringing services, suppliers, projects and spending into a centralized view. Within that view, teams can monitor project milestones, compare financial commitments with budgets and evaluate supplier performance, according to Aya.
