Monte Block, president and chief executive officer of Equiliem, will enter the American Staffing Association Leadership Hall of Fame after five decades in staffing, recruiting and workforce solutions, the association said Sept. 9.

Block is a second-generation staffing executive who leads a family-led business with a staffing legacy spanning three generations. Equiliem serves employers across North America in industries supporting critical infrastructure, according to ASA.

ASA cited Block’s career building and leading staffing businesses and mentoring industry professionals. His association work includes service on ASA’s legal and legislative committee and participation as a mentor in its Mentor Match program. He also speaks and advises on leadership and workforce strategy and is already a member of the New Jersey Staffing Association Hall of Fame.

The ASA award, established in 1985, recognizes individual contributions to the association and the staffing industry. ASA says 49 leaders have been honored through the Hall of Fame and its Pioneer Award, which recognized contributions predating the association’s founding in 1966.

Block will be honored at Staffing World 2026, ASA’s annual convention and expo, scheduled for Oct. 12 to 14 in Denver.
