MTS folds Stoltenberg and Avarion brands into Med Tech Solutions
The healthcare IT company is putting acquired staffing, EHR consulting and advisory work under the same name as its managed technology services.
Med Tech Solutions is retiring the Stoltenberg Consulting and Avarion brands, folding hospital IT staffing, electronic health record consulting and advisory work into the MTS name alongside its managed technology services, the company said in an Oct. 13, 2026, announcement.
The branding change follows acquisitions MTS has already made. MTS bought Stoltenberg in 2024 and later added Avarion, formerly Huntzinger Management Group.
Stoltenberg’s staffing, EHR consulting and go-live support capabilities are already part of MTS’ business. Avarion adds strategic consulting, optimization and change management. Those services sit alongside MTS’ ongoing IT and EHR support, cloud hosting and cybersecurity offerings.
Chief Executive Mona Abutaleb said the shared name is intended to make it easier for healthcare clients to access services across the organization while preserving the acquired firms’ expertise and client relationships. For Stoltenberg customers, the rebranding builds on an integration that has been underway for several years, and those clients retain access to the healthcare IT professionals they already work with, MTS said.
