CGI buys Callibrity, adding 120 consultants in Cincinnati
The acquisition adds enterprise AI, platform engineering and digital product-development work to CGI’s U.S. commercial business.
CGI has acquired Callibrity, adding 120 consultants and a deeper Cincinnati foothold to its U.S. commercial and state government business, according to a Sept. 9 company statement. The transaction closed Sept. 8, 2026.
Callibrity brings work in production-ready enterprise AI, platform engineering and digital product development. Its developers, strategists and engineers serve commercial clients, with particular experience in financial services, insurance and manufacturing, CGI said.
CGI said Callibrity clients will keep access to their existing teams and expertise while gaining access to CGI’s broader services and global delivery network. CGI describes its model as local client relationships backed by global delivery, with 94,000 consultants and professionals worldwide.
Vijay Srinivasan, president of CGI’s U.S. Commercial and State Government operations, pointed to Callibrity’s client relationships and technical expertise as a base for further expansion in Cincinnati. Callibrity CEO Gary Howard said joining CGI would expand what the firm can offer clients and its people while preserving the expertise and relationships it has built.
