Humanly buys CareerArc to add candidate attraction to AI hiring platform
Nine of CareerArc’s 13 employees are joining Humanly, which plans to fold the company’s tools into its own brand.
Humanly has acquired CareerArc, adding social recruiting and career-site tools to its AI screening and interviewing platform for high-volume employers, the company announced Oct. 14. Nine of CareerArc’s 13 employees are joining Humanly, which now employs 50 people, according to GeekWire.
The deal extends Humanly into the work that happens before a candidate applies, with the stated aim of maintaining a continuous hiring pipeline. CEO and co-founder Prem Kumar described the acquisition as a way to connect hiring tasks employers have handled through separate tools: candidate reach, screening and hiring, rather than recruitment marketing separated from the steps that follow an application.
CareerArc’s products include HireSocial, a social recruiting platform for talent acquisition teams, and Job Maps, which lets candidates explore openings by location on an employer’s career site. Humanly’s existing software engages, screens and interviews candidates around the clock through chat, phone and video, according to the announcement.
The purchase follows Humanly’s acquisition of employee-engagement platform Anthill earlier in 2026 and its purchases of recruiting technology companies Sprockets, Qualifi and HourWork in 2025.
CareerArc’s customers will carry over to Humanly, and the longer-term plan is to fold CareerArc into the Humanly brand, marketing director Birch Faber told Staffing Industry Analysts. HireSocial and Job Maps will be incorporated into Humanly’s services.
