HNM Systems formalizes data center practice
Suzanne Dunham will lead the North America practice, which pairs staffing and project support with training cohorts for data center talent.
HNM Systems has consolidated its existing data center business into a dedicated practice, pairing technical staffing and project support with training programs designed to build new talent pipelines, according to an Oct. 14 company statement.
The workforce-solutions firm’s offering includes structured training cohorts that combine recruiting, training, field exposure and skills evaluation. HNM handles sourcing, onboarding, training administration and program coordination. Customers retain control over final skills assessments and hiring decisions.
Suzanne Dunham will lead the practice after helping shape HNM’s data center strategy. Her previous employers include Degreed, Avionté and Jobs2web, with experience spanning workforce solutions, learning and development, recruiting automation and enterprise technology.
The practice will serve customers across North America, including hyperscale and colocation operators. Contract staffing and contract-to-hire programs will sit alongside support for engineering, construction management, commissioning and network operations.
Founder and CEO Heather Moyer identified power availability, community engagement and workforce capacity as major constraints on data center development, positioning HNM’s role around finding specialized workers and developing future talent.
“The demand for data center infrastructure is undeniable, but demand alone doesn't get projects built,” Moyer said in the statement.
HNM said recent engagements included helping a digital infrastructure customer expand its workforce for hyperscale data center environments and supporting mission-critical infrastructure and network operations programs. It also reported identifying and evaluating more than 1,000 candidates for specialized roles.
